Indeed. Congratulations should be extended to the framers for their
check and balance foresight and the American citizenry for exercising
their right to vote their conscience.
We have an opportunity to repair what's gone wrong if the partisanship
can get set aside or at least somewhat muted.
If Bush is demanding and attempts to push politically-motivated "reforms"
such as social security, he'll cement the Ds position as the preferred
party.

It's getting harder. CNN has declared Tester winner over Burns in the
Montana U.S. Senate race. The remaining undeclared Senate race is in
Virginia, where Webb maintains a 7,000-vote margin over Macaca. Virginia
probably will head into a recount, and the final results not certified
until late November or early December. If Allen had any class, he'd
concede now, right?
Seems I've heard this before.
