We sailed up and down LIS, I did bump into one rock just south of
Islip. Did it on accident when I back winded the new sails and fell off
backwards, funny thing is my GPS said the shols were more than 12 feet
north of my position. I think it was an uncharted rock and sent a
message to the USCG to get it included in the local notice to mariners.

There are no rocks in the waters south of Islip. The Great South Bay is
south of Islip. The Long Island Sound is 15 miles north of Islip.
