I am writing an article, "Moonface Nation".

I was out taking some video of my favorite trout stream yesterday
which is located in state forest land in Pomfret. The stream is about
four miles long and traverses some farmer's land that I know well.
Most of these farmers allow hunting and fishing (as I do) as long as
they ask permission every time they go out and they stay within the
confines of the posted land.

Anyway, I parked my car and started walking the stream bed, I noticed
that the closer to the road, the more tree stands there were. I must
have counted 15 tree stands in a space about 100 yards long and maybe
30 wide. The further I went back along the stream bed, the stands
started to thin out until I was about two miles in, only the
occasional stand and at the three mile mark, none. :)

What that proves, I don't know, but there is a point there somewhere.

It proves that the deer are now driving cars to get a drink from the stream.
