I never trusted the salt water drain on the heat exchanger to fully
drain the system. I prefer to flush completely with antifreeze. I
suppose after that I could open the drain, just to be safe.

it in a bucket, poured it back into the 3 jugs and put it
away for next
year's winterizing.
