That's all?

Amateur.

One of our horse paddocks has a very old apple tree in it. It still
produces apples, but lost a major limb in a snow storm a few years ago.
The limb represented about a third of the tree. I don't completely
understand why, but having some kind of weird respect for it we had a
professional tree person come over and he worked on it, injecting something
in it to help nurse it back to health.

Unfortunately, yesterday's storm took another third down.

I appears as though the tree may not have been the biggest apple producer
around, but it did have a lot of 'character'. Shame to lose it.
