Well, I might have done given a bit of time, but after my initial
iconoclastic reaction, I realised that Vegemite is a US company & US brand
after all, so it's only the standard, sad case of the US shooting its own

Ahem. At the risk of repeating myself, Kraft Foods & Vegemite brand are
entirely US-owned. Is denying a multitude of Australian expatriates in
the US their daily vitamin B & folate fix worth the loss of sales
revenue? Anyway, re the US guns; on my last recent run through Woomera,
there were American guns everywhere!
