My boat slipped in today.

Windows in the hull makes a sailboat less safe than no windows in the hull.
It makes it more likely to leak, too. If your honest you'll admit it. They're stupid.
It's become a style. And the style is dangerous. Ask any serious sailor and they'll
agree with me. Why ask for trouble when there's plenty always coming without asking?
Duh! What are you gonna see anyway when you try to look outta those windows? Yes,
water! You can see that anytime. Then the light comes in and glares in your eyes so
what do you do? Put curtains up. So what's the use of a window then? Might as well
have a safe solid hull.
The Bavaria 30 doesn't have windows in the hull. I'd rather sail in it than in yours.
Less holes in the hull are safer. You can't make it any other way. Saying they're higher
than on another boat is dumb, just plain dumb. But, I'm sure you'll enjoy your new
death trap anyhoo.... :-)
Cheers,
Ellen
