Absolutely agree. A variety of interests is healthy. When in the mood
to converse about other interests beyond boating, there are NG's and
other forums set up for that specific purpose.

communications, transmitters and electronics among fellow participants in
this NG
..
I feel this discussion was very much in concert with the purpose and spirit
of rec.boats and don't think we need to find an "appropriate" NG to discuss
such subjects once in a while.
