Default Who ever said that catching fish was difficult?

It bit right through the leather to boot.

First time I ever went blue fishing was many years ago with my father
in law. We went out on a big party boat from the south shore of Long
Island in mid-summer. We had bright sun shine, blue skys, 20+ winds,
fair sized sized seas running, and the blues were biting like crazy.
Just a perfect day on the ocean.

The party boat supplied everyone with heavy burlap bags for their
fish, and as the day went on the decks were covered with bags of fish.

In the middle of the afternoon a small kid let out a terrified shreik
like he was being eaten alive by a shark. Everyone rushed over to see
what the problem was, and it turned out that a ticked off blue fish
had eaten through a burlap bag and grabbed this kid by the pant leg.

It was pretty hilarious once we realized he was OK.
