Default Radar necessary, recommended?

Jim... get the radar.... don't look back. It's one thing to know where you
are, and another entirely to know where everyone else is in relation to your
position.

Radar will expand your sail times and remove much angst regarding night
sails.

They have small radome units with flat panels now that take little power and
no room at all.

Probably good advice. I'm looking at the Furino 1623. - Small radome and
low current drain.
