I got hit by ground hornets this morning and I left my Epipen at home.

Six stings. Managed to get my cell phone out and called EMS who
arrived pretty quicky, Epipen in hand.

Short visit to the hospital and feeling fine except a little shaky at
the moment.

Damn f'in ground hornets - I'm going to kill 'em all this afternoon.

WMDs - the only answer.

Glad you are ok. That's a dangerous sensitivity. My nephew came very
close
and carries two syringes with him at all times and has instructed us on
how
to use them.

Started ten years ago when I was hit by a swarm of those critters -
under the porch - couldn't get out. I was blinded and they hurt like
a broken bone. I was told after I woke up in the hospital that they
stopped counting at 30 stings.

You have to be careful. As you know, the stings are accumulative in terms
of your body being able to tolerate them. My nephew just made it. His
throat had constricted to the point where he passed out.
Another 5 minutes or so and he would have been a goner.
