Most of Streisand's fans know how political she is, and that politics is
part and parcel of her life, and that includes her professional life.

I suspect just about everyone in audience enjoyed the skit poking fun at
Bush.

No, the audience was not happy. Especially why it made the news.


My understanding is that she, as usual, interjected some political
commentary but continued on her soap box for an extended period. Most in the
audience were starting to get restless with a specific heckler getting her
attention.

A brief comment is fine ... but the people paid to attend a music concert,
not to listen to a political speech.
This is nothing new .... she's been like this for many, many years.
