@tornado.tampabay.rr.com:

Oil companies have said cost of fuel will go back up for the winter. Id
guess immediately following the Nov elections.
Gotta look after thier interests, don't ya know?

Diesel fuel dipped, FINALLY, to about the same price as the highest grade
of gas, $US2.44/US Gallon in Charleston, SC when I filled up the truck,
today. All the while I was watching my income flying out the window, I was
saying, "Frybrid...Frybrid...Frybrid", in my mind.

Just out of curiosity, what is the breakeven point for you in the
conversion (how many gallons [it appears to be about 1k] - how many
miles - how long in calendar time)?

And, if you were to do it on other vehicles, are the installations
unique - that is, could they be transferred, like a battery pulse
conditioner, e.g., to other vehicles, later?

Skip, floating, blissfully (well, the floating part - the allergies
still are troublesome) while waiting for hull shape stability prior to
final adjustments on the drive line
