Black spots
Use Te-Ka. It's a two part solution, the first part is a strong base...
let it work then neutralize with part B, which is an acid. Don't get it
anything else! I'd try applying with Q-tips or something like that
just to the blackened wood. Of course, you have to sand any old finish
off first so the Te-Ka can get into the wood. You'll have to sand a
little afterwards as well because it'll raise the grain.
