Default Yamaha 3 cyl inboard ME200F

HI, Dennis, I can best answer this questrion once I take the exchanger
cover off and see if there is any damage... this motor is about the
same age as yours so maybe there is n o need for anodes???

I have the 3 GMF 30 and spent some time trying to find them. The
last word I got was that they weren't there because they weren't
needed. I've had the motor over 15 years mostly in fresh water and
have so far not seen a reason to disagree. I would appreciate
hearing if I'm wrong about this.

Hi, I have a YAMAHA ME200F inboard diesel and am having trouble
locating the anodes. I think I have found one in the heat exchanger
(some residual zinc on a plug). I cannot get a replacement to fit
so I have tried epoxy gluing a pencil anode.

Does anyone know if there are more than one anode on the engine? The
previous owner did not know about anodes so never replaced them...
(bit scary really).

If anyone can advise if there is a workshop mnaula I would also
appreciate the information. The Austrlain YAMAHA delers are not
familiar with this engine and can't help too much.

Must be a Canadian/North American/Australian problem, you can buy them here
in the UK at any Yanmar agents.
