Default I took the new owners of my boat on a cruise today and said goodbye to her

Although we had storms in the early morning, the skies cleared in time for
me to take the new owners of my boat on a cruise today (out of Port
Clinton). I volunteered to take them on this cruise so I could show him the
finer points of the boat while under power.

Once through the bay and channel and into the Lake I took the boat WOT, then
slowed down to a cruising speed, then to idle. We repeated this several
times so the new owners could get an understanding of the OD and trim tab
trim functions. We then took it through some maneuverability stints,
finally returning to port some 45 minutes later and stopping for gas along
the way. She took 140 gallons @ $2.30/gallon..thankfully I was not paying
for it. ;-)

Winds started to pick up on the way back to dock but we got her in OK and
buttoned her up before the heavy rain started.

While under canvas I walked the new owners through the operation of the
electronics including chart plotter, radar, gps and fish finder. We then
went through the operation of the vacuflush, cabin and cockpit lighting, ice
maker and general 110v and 110v/12v systems.

We had many fine years on this boat and I was truly sad to drive away from
her for one last time. The folks that purchased the boat are terrific
people and I know they will enjoy her as much as we did.

So long my fine lady. You were good to us and you will be missed .;-(
