I have Daisy and a Crossman pistol. They can shoot more than Lewis's
rifle.

What do you mean by "shoot more"?

Did you read the specs?

250 grains at 900 fps. Your Daisy and Crosman are no match.

Crosman has made some pretty decent airguns, but no air pistol I've heard
of will put out that kind of horsepower. Joe, did you realize that 250gr
at 900fps is more muzzle energy than standard rounds coming out of a .45
ACP?

I've always wanted one of those semi custom Emglish match air rifles
myself, that would be lots of fun at anchorages.

I have the RWS models 48 and 35. The 48 is in .22 cal (900 fps) and the 35
is in .177 cal (1100fps). I've killed dozens of crows with the 35 on just
one shot. The 48 takes several shots. They are both very accurate. I also
have the Crosman 760, 1400, pump air pistol CO2 semi auto rifle. I won't own
a Daisy, they are crap.
The best air gun I have besides the RWS's is a Tippmann A-5 ( .68 cal) with
the electronic trigger set, stock barrel, 21 inch straight rifled barrel and
the backspin inducing flatline barrel. Besides paintballs, you can load it
up with marbles (400 fps!) to do some real damage. The projectiles are
pushed out with a piston, not air, so the barrel/projectile fit isn't
critical. With paintballs alone on full auto you can easily cut a rabbit or
squirrel in two. The range is over 100 yards so it would be fun at
anchorages. It is noisy though.

Here's the Tippmann:

Look into a good paintball gun for your trawler adventures. If your hook it
up to your propane tank with no regulator you can get paintballs and flame!
Just cycling it with paintballs on flame mode would definitely clear out an
anchorage. Good for lighting the BBQ too!
