Yes, the flywheel is "keyed" and can only go on one way. When reinstalling
the flywheel make sure that the outer edge of the key is parallel to the
crankshaft centerline. If the key has a single mark on it, be sure to
install the key on the crankshaft with the mark facing downward.
Torque the flywheel correctly (100-105 ft-lbs for your model)

Also, make sure to check the magnets that are epoxyed to the inside of the
flywheel. It is very common for these magnets to be cracked or unglued.
OMC sells a kits for repairing this.
