New Marine WiFi Product
Maybe people don't look at their setup features and select higher voice
quality. MAybe they are not using a VOIP router that prioritizes voice
over other data.
And their ISP probably doesn't have the upstream routers also configured to
properly pass Quality Of Service packet data. If the ISP doesn't handle QoS
it won't matter that much what router you try using on your end. It'll help
avoid your own outgoing traffic from stepping on your incoming voice data
but that's about it. A great many naive voip customers using vonage,
sunrocket, etc discover this the hard way. It's not so much "the fault" of
the voip supplier but it's certainly a problem for them. I've used
speakeasy for DSL service for quite a while and their voip service for the
past year and it's been rock solid reliable.
