I had a Windrider many years ago, went to pull the mast out of the step,
cleared it from the hole, then stepped back to steady it, then back some
more, then more, then right off the dock. Didn't break anything except the
Windex, but I did get some applause from the crowd watching.

Hope someone comes to your rescue...I did a similar Coup de grace a number
of years ago up in Harbor Springs, MI...not fun. You will feel those ribs
for a long, long time....
