I'm not trying to moderate. I'm only pointing out to various people how and why
this group's almost useless as a sailing newsgroup.

And why is this a problem? There are plenty of useful newsgroups and
forums, but there is only one ASA.

Think of this, everybody has
a responsibility to act responsibly. If not the group becomes defacto moderated
in a way that drives away mature sailors and leaves remaining a group of baby
bullies who like to see themselves spitting up formula. If your offended by
sensible talk like this then your a big part of the reason why this group is so
pitiful.

Are you claiming yours is "sensible talk"? It sounds a lot more like
whining.

Why are you so insistent that there is a problem? I admit that the
flonkers are a nuisance, but that's what kill files are for.
Otherwise, everyone is free to say what they want.
