I have about 20,000 posts /10 yrs on Usenet (primarily in Rec.scuba), and
I have broadband PCS in the truck.

As a wildly unsupportable guess, I'd say about 40% of OTR drivers have a
notebook in the truck.

Can they actually use them? Or is it, like, (waving a notebook out the
window): "hey gal, want a ride?"...
