Default Comments on Shred Ready Helmet?

I have buddies with Shred ready lids....they are OK as are many kevlar
helmets, but hands down I think you'll find Grateful Heads the most
popular.....for a reason. Look at their website and search or call for
"blems" These are warranted, and cosmetic irregularities on some,
structurally fine, and a huge discount. I bought one at Cheat Fest as a
back-up to my other one. Good buy!

I'm a bit suprised I didn't get more comments on the above helmets,
although, I drifted onto this topic under another thread I started.

I'm just looking for general comments on price, popularity, durability,
protection and satisfaction anyone might have. In my local area, N. Calif.
near the Yuba River and maybe the American River, they seem to be very
popular among advanced kayakers.
