U.S. Penal Code does not allow the use of deadly force in the protection of
your property. Deadly force can only be used when a reasonable man feels
someone's life is in eminent danger.

The use of a trip wires to harm someone illegally entering your home will
result in the owner being charged with either with aggravated assault or
manslaughter if the person is killed.

I also agree with the penal code. While it does not matter if you agree
with the law or not, you will be found guilty. The world would be a better
place if you were behind bars.
