boat gets into any kind of a repetitive wave pattern. It is as if
something cuts off the fuel supply as the boat surges forward, and

If it isn't something in the tank, where else would I look? What-
ever, it is definitely a function of up-and-down hull motion.

Everybody else is favoring a fuel supply diagnosis, and they may well
be right.

However, there are other possibilities that should be investigated, and
they would include the additional "load" of the following sea on your
prop as well as the liklihood that the following sea could be running
up your exhuast pipe and reducing your engine's abilty to breathe.

Do you know whether changing the trim of your outdrive has any effect
on the phenomenon?
