I'll play with it this w/e. Have a wedding to shoot next
week. Most likely I'll just use the auto settings.
I have 2 pair of rechargeable NiMh batts., don't know what
their rated at. Also carry 2 spare Alk., just in case. I
get them for free.

Read the manual and try the various settings. I prefer the
spot focus
setting because I always know if I have a sharp shot that
way. Use
batteries rated to 2200 at least and you'll get plenty of
shots, even
more if you don't use the screen. You can set an audible
signal to let
you know when you have focus lock.
