Swarovski makes great optics, but...
Looking through a pair of 10x42's would make me queasy on board. Also,
these look like non-ruggedized dry land optics. Good for birding. Maybe
not so good for a boat.
I received a pair as a gift. (had something to do with building equipment
for the coated optics). Never used them, other than a look-see when I first
got them. They are still in the metal case that they come in.
They are crystal clear, though.
I had no idea they cost that much until this thread came up and I remembered
I had them. I dug 'em out and did a search for them.
