Default carb trouble Mariner 75 again

Remove the carb, clean it and replace the needle and seat. Also check the
float, make sure it's floating, may want to replace it. Flush the gas lines
before reconnecting them.

Note... if you find small black silt in the carb, fuel hoses may be falling
apart, at which point you may want to replace them.

OK, I got the boat home. I start it up. and it doesn't want to idle,
the bottom carb has a brass nipple in the throat that angles toward the
front of the boat, it looks like gas is bubbling out of there and
dripping down the front of the carb. What do I need to do? And what
causes this?

More good advice! Forgot about the decaying fuel hoses, which is
definitely a good possibility with an older motor.
