that ply their trade and earn a living for their owners
regularly under sail. I'd love to see them.

I hate to give you bad news, Joe.
They don't make a living under sail any more, Joe. There are
certain days during the season where they are allowed to use
the pushboats and that's what they all do.
Skipjacks are certainly an example of classic working craft,
but they're also an example of how sail propulsion just
isn't economically viable in the developed world, even in
very specialized trades with legal protection.
