Right, Bob. They look about as comfortable as 6 people in a phone
booth.


6 people could not fit on one side of the C&C 32 cockpit or the
Catalina 36 for that matter. The reason the 35s5 can manage it (look at
the photo) is that the coamings double the seating area. Even my buddy
with a Tayana 48 DS commented how much more room the 35s5 had compared
to his old Pearson 39.
If you doubt that the coamings are effective I have PROOF as usual...

In that shot NO ONE is seated in the cockpit. 4 people are on the
coamings! They are just as comfortable as the cockpit area. So you can
throw another 4 or 5 in the cockpit, though all that weight aft is not
a good thing.
