But that is a rather subtle difference. Boat cams are designed for
midrange power knowing that the engine will never see anything beyond
5k rpm in aboat. Cams in commercial trucks and rv's are a bit closer
to boat cams in design than regular auto cams. But again it is not
radically different. You could get close the same effect by simply
retarding the auto cam a few degrees. If you care.
