Thanks for the info. I am a bit surprised to hear that it is
considered unuderpowered as the top end rating is 140 or 150HP. I have
heard that it is not great in heavy seas. I will be using on a larger
adirondack lake and a bay off of Lake Ontario primarily so not sure I
will see very big waves. Any other CC boats anyone can reccomend
looking at? I have seen a few Triumphs that look interesting.

Great boats, but that Osprey isn't a great boat in a chop or
quartering winds - it's a wet ride. It's more of a bay type boat than
something that can take some wind/wave action.

As far as room goes, it's ok. Add a cooler for a day's fishing and
you are somewhat limited in terms of space. Kids will, and should
anyway, require PFD's as there isn't a lot of free board.

It's a fishing boat more than a runabout.

With the 115 it's also underpowered - a150/175 would be much better
and make the boat perform well. 200 would be perfect.

The one thing I would add is trim tabs - I recently refit my 200C
Ranger with trim tabs and it made one hell of a difference - might be
worth investing in if you do buy the boat.

If it's an occasional boat for wife/kids and you will be using it more
for inshore/bay fishing, it's a great boat. I have the Ranger
equivalent and love it, but I don't take kids or the wife out on it
even though it has more room than the average bay boat.

Just something to think about.
