Default How to beat "The Horror!"

Actually, BS, she's 28 and owns 1/3 of the boat (we put her on the
title when we bought it).

One third of a floating hot dog. Is she hot? Would she like sail on a
nicer boat?

I did manage somehow to put her through one of the City's best
private
schools, and one of the top 3 small liberal arts colleges in the
country (she graduated summa), and she's half way through an MBA at
one of US New's top 5 business schools. And we didn't have to move to
a dump in an outlying boro to manage it.

Kew Gardens is a dump? Forest Hills? Dang! Who knew???

It's a matter, I suppose, of values. Do you invest in your kid's
future, or buy a big platic toy so you can sit by the dock with the AC
running.

I guess you couldn't do both. Thom's college is all paid for. In fact
Thom has about 60K in bonds alone from his 1st birthday. Our family is
rich enough so we don't have to worry about such things. We also sold
our two family house in Brooklyn (which I inherited in the mid 80's)
and will be buying property in Mahopac in 2008. Judging by what you had
to give up, you weren't so lucky.
You can't be too bright. I'm home or on the boat 7 days a week, time to
play and Suzanne was back at school for 3 years at a private
school...and you couldn't figure out that my wallet has more cash than
your whole net worth?
Sorry.
