I am working on moving to the Raleigh area. You can live on a golf

Why can't you live next to a golf course in the DC metro area? I drive
right by what looks like a very nice course with residences (South
River) when I go to Annapolis. I've seen plenty more.

You frequently claim to be "wealthier" than I am. I can afford one of
those houses, so you surely can. There's even a listing there with a 50'
dock...so you'd have a place to park your boat, if you ever bought one.

Because I can sell my house and buy two nicer places in Raleigh and have
enough left over to play golf for the rest of my life! The green fees down
there are from a third to half of what they are up here.

Your name is Bert?

Whoops!

Does Bert live in the DC area?

His reasons may be close to mine, and, you got to hear from me!

Bert claims to be a wealthy resident of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Interesting area, with a terrific Greek Orthodox Church and some fine
eating establishments in Rockville.

I have a brother-in-law by marriage (sort of-I'm not sure what the
relationship actually is) who is moving out of that area of North
Carolina soon. He's a pastor. I believe he liked the area, but found it
professionally limiting, and was hoping to find a different church
elsewhere.

I don't believe the creeks down there are challenging enough for a
Parker 25-footer.

Incidentally, the fish were biting yesterday. I guess the water was too
hot to swim in.

I'd probably leave the Proline for the kids and get a little 17'er for the
local lakes.

Most brothers-in-law are by marriage, usually to the sister of one's wife.
You might check to see if she has any sisters.

Glad to hear about the fish biting. Now if only the Proline was
air-conditioned! What did you catch?
