Harry, 70,000 square feet of yard is about 1.6 acres of grass to cut.
That is w-a-y too much for someone who also enjoys boating.
Let some of it return to wild growth and maybe wetlands.

Got to be nuts to allow that much grass to grow! When a early teenager, I
had to cut about an acre of lawn. Grandparents farm, and the temperature in
the central valley of Calif would be around a 100 degrees. sometimes they
ran the cows for a while to shorten it, but came down to "Billy, go cut the
grass".

I agree. Some of it is meadow, and I plan to plant a small orchard on
part of it. On one side of the "other side" of the woods behind us sits
a 30 acre clearing for a horse ranch (farm?). The guy who owns it mows
it fairly regularly. Now that's a mow job.
