My dog thinks he walks on water.
Once while towing a friend's boat thru the Ballard locks from the Puget
Sound side while tied up to the lock wall, he decided to abandon ship
after a duck, I didn't realize it till I heard the laughter from the
"lookie loos" above me. "look at that dog!" I turned to see my dog wash
out the locks with the current, I was lucky I knew the lock tenders,
They let me break my tow to go get my dog.
Now I tie him up everytime I transit the locks, Typical Chesapeake Bay
Retriever.
