Default Wednesday Sail

Nutsy,

Aren't those Wing Keels something else. You were sailing in condition
just about perfect for a wing. Can you feel the wing start to work at
about 10 degrees heel. Pneuma always seem to say enough, stiffen up and
keep that water flowing over the wing.

You'll have to learn where that groove is but once you find it you'll
know where she wants to sail and where you and her are happiest. You'll
feel the helm go neutral. If you sail in front of the wheel on the high
side you can keep the tail of travel on the seat, while you're
singlehanding. A simple pull & snap and the main is released.

I loved my "Wing" I think you will too.

A good time to talk about "Pointing" The wing will point high but will
make Leeway. Keep a good flow over that Wing, even if you give up some
pointing your up wind made good will be better. Again, find that
groove. Your compass and Speed-0-meter will tell you.
