Default Powerboats Make Sense, Claims Doug

Nutsy,

You neglected to mention; They can get to the better moorages 1st;
Their speed does not depend on wind strength; They can go faster to the
best moorages directly (No Tacking) They can make a full pot of coffee
while under way:^); They can get under way and anchor with a simple turn
of the key ( No sails to furl) and best of all, they can voyage anytime
with or without wind and set a direct course.

The way you sail;--- a hour or two and just around LI Sound, it would
make sense for you. BUT---- It wouldn't be sailing. I can't think of a
nicer way to waste time than to be under sail. Been doing it for years.

Thom
P/S forgot to mention; They make a much better "Committee Boat" for
Sailboat Races than any Sailing Vessel, by far!
