Fast Sail Boats of ASA
Once you acquire the skills & reflexes, they don't go away.
I haven't sailed a Laser more often than a few hours a year
for the past 15 years, but when I jump on one, it's lots of fun.
Well, then..since I've done some dinghy sailing this summer I'd
probably trounce you with ease. I'm naturally stronger than you and I
run. I'm also younger and sailing the 35s5 3 times a week on average.
You "sail" a powerboat.
Apology accepted, but not necessary.
That's a good step in the right direction, Doug. You must learn to
accept pity and we all do feel badly for you.
1- I don't give a rat's patootie about you or your lists
And yet here you are, posting in my thread about sailboats while you
don't even have one. Odd, eh?
2- I've owned and sailed more performance boats than you've
ever heard of
Golly. We're all VERY impressed with you, Doug, I'm sure! Sailing boats
people have never heard of sure is amazing!
??? What part of "cruising with family" do you not
understand?
You're "powering" with family. You chose a powerboat. This group is
comprised almost entirely of people who own cruising sailboats.
And I still sail more (and better) than you ever
will.
Well, the first part is untrue. I sailed 4 out of 7 days last week and
will be sailing Wednesday, Thursday, then sailing with friends to Cold
Springs for swimming and an overnighter on Saturday/Sunday.
As for the "better" part...we can only guess. I hope you're having fun
somehow, Doug. Really. Now...fuel up that bad boy!
Yikes!
