Very little (if any) time in high-performance
crew-ballasted boats?


What's great is to watch Doug try to troll, while he's cried and cried
about my antics here.
Ah well...
My experience in crew balasted boats over the years...

Two summers sailing Sunfish as a kid...lots of fun!
Lots of sailing on Hobie 16 in recent years....
Sailing a wood Lightning as a teen...first boat I wanted to buy.
Sailing an Albacore as a teen....fast boat!
Sailing a laser off and on starting about 11 years ago....wanna buy
mine?

These are the boats I spent some time on...I've sailed others once or
twice, so I don't mention them here. I am NOT an experienced sailor of
these boats. I believe you need to stay in shape/practice for that kind
of sailing on at least a weekly basis. I do enjoy it when I can.
Sorry you didn't make the fast sailboat list, Doug. You traded in your
sailing dreams for a powerboat.
