Default 35s5 flaw

While I've been yapping on endlessly about the 35s5's virtues and
features, I have noted one issue with the boat. Unlike most of the
folks here I'll actually admit to a fault in myself (rarely required)
or in a vessel I own.

The 35s5 has nice room for such a fast boat and we are continuously
pleased with her. But there is certainly one area where she comes up
"short." The V Birth is really barely big enough for anyone to close to
6 feet and a an adult couple might be pretty challenged up there. It's
just fine for two kids...which is what we wanted it for, or even a
couple of girlfriends (both around 5'7 each) who stayed on the boat,
but it's hardly what I'd call a generous cabin. With the head aft, I
would have sacrificed the forward closet space or even a bit of the
main cabin to make the forward bunks 6 inches longer.
In any case....it's the one real flaw in her design even if it's shared
by so many others. The aft cabin is one of the few where Suzanne and I
can sleep together in comfort and it's two opening ports have worked
well for keeping the air moving....though it would have been rough
there today.
