That is not what a buddy does, a buddy should be more than just
someone to
join in on rec.boats personal insults. Let's try to stay
focused
on
discussing issues and not personal insults.

Since when has wrecked.boats not been insulting?
(Wondering where Skipper is .... should be back from his "cruise"
by
now).

Eisboch

I guess it will never change.

That's my story and I am sticking to it!
Try being more open about your boat and boating experiences and
maybe,
just maybe folks will consider your advice. Until then accept the
consequences of your decision to remain totally anonymous to this
NG,
both in name and experience, none of which have resulting in
insulting
or name calling.

BTW: You previously stated that *all* Volvo Penta engines need a
160F
and you were promptly proved wrong. Your credibility remains at 0%

Just the facts...........Jack!

Reggie's stated reasons for anonymity are b.s., in case you haven't
yet
guessed. He plays his little game because at one point he logged on
here
with his "real" persona, and he doesn't want the "regulars" to guess
who
he really is.
Harry,
Are you saying, I prefer to keep my anonymity because some regulars
prefer to respond with personal insults instead of sticking to the
topic
being discussed?

Disclosing your real first name (and using it), the type of boat you
own and where you boat is not removing your anonymity.

What are you afraid of?
Edit:

Several months ago, JimH, a person on this group made fun of your last
name, your boat, where you lived, the house in which you lived, your
reasons for selling your boat, your being boatless, and any other
personal
information this individual could glean from your posts.

Do you not remember this?

No. Care to show us?

Now you are asking another to provide personal information, somehow
linking
his knowledge to his release thereof.

I asked him to share with us his first name, the type of boat he owns
and the type of boating he does.

Very personal and bad things to ask a member here in a boating NG.

Get real John, then get a life.

If I told you my first name is John, I owned a 32 ft. bubble boat, and I
normally raft up or anchor in a quiet cove on inland lake, would provide
you with enough personal information?

To be honest with you........no. At this point you have made it clear that
you would lie even when asked to provide basic information about yourself,
your boat and your boating habits. So disregard my previous request
Reggie. You may as well resume your life here as a boatless anon who sole
purpose is to stir the pot daily.
