Default Mounting an outboard on a new boat

That's good to know.

How large is the OP's outboard? (I missed that somewhere along the
line).


It's a '74 Johnson 135 V4, about 300lbs.
I know to seal the holes, but now it makes sense to me to use the
sealant between the metal mount & the glass. Same effect that I was
looking for. using the 4200 just didnt occur to me.
