Default Am I blue?

It's always funny when poor Mooron screws the pooch (Not Scotty's
wife). Here are shots of my boats on the LIS...all blue water, folks.
No less blue that the water of the North Carolina coastline BTW!!!! Uh,
Mooron...your stomped yet again!

LIS water is essentially "flushed" twice every 24 hours due to the very
strong race here. The water is very clean compared to most beaches of
the world where there is constant wash-up and depositing.
What is NOT clean are some areas of the BOTTOM of the LIS, where
sediment has been contaminated. You'll find this problem in most
harbors...worse when the harbor is smaller. The LIS is a large area and
has rebounded nicely in recent years. But the actual water of the LIS
is cleaner than most harbors and beaches. It's a fact.
So where's the gray, Mooron? Have you ever swam in Trinidad's gray
waters or Tobago's aqua blue and green waters just a few miles away? Do
you even know why water color varies? Of course you don't.
Oh...and while you all posted your little hearts out last night...we
were sailing...on BLACK water!
