I've got my work cut out for me this next week.

Yesterday and today I received:
1. Shakespeare 5102 VHF Antenna
2. Shakespeare 4187 Ratchet Mount
3. Horizon Eclipse+ fixed mount VHF Marine Radio w/NOAA Weather Alert
4. Two 8 foot and one 3 foot #2 AWG marine tinned battery cables with
connectors professionally attached and with heat shrink.
So, I now have a fixed mount marine radio and antenna, along with a
battery A/B switch to install on the boat while on vacation (which starts
tomorrow afternoon!) this next week. I also have to repair the lights on
my trailer as we will be hauling the boat with us when we vacation on
Put-In-Bay later in July.
With that................all I will have left to do is repair the fuel
gauge sending unit, but that will wait till next spring (we now fill up
on every other return trip with the boat).
It has been a long road on the repairs and upgrades on this little
runabout but I can now almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.
;-)
The tunnel is simply half of a circle.

You are correct. Even though our previous boats were pretty loaded I always
found something new (and sometimes expensive) they *needed*.
Maybe Penn and Teller will unveil the secret to that illusion to boaters
someday. ;-)
