Default Sail Cut Question

Very little. An attempt to gain sail area.

Is the sail correctly cut if, with the outhaul tight as it will go, the end
of the boom hangs lower than the gooseneck?

Maybe. What about the halyard? Battens? Is the boat a
one-design class, assigned handicap, or measurement rating?

Some boats were given this droopy boom in an attempt to gain
"off the books" sail area, since measurement rules determine
sail area by the I, J, P, and E lengths.
