Hey thanks for the help. After a trip to autozone this morn I installed
the new solenoid. My old one did have a 2nd small prong which looked
to be hooked up as a ground. The new one has only one small prong but
it seems to work perfectly.
Like I said I'm totally new to boats and I'm assuming I shouldn't start
the engine without water hooked up via those earmuff things is that
correct? I live in a condo and don't have easy access to a garden hose
so I might just have to run out to the lake for it's first start.
