getting into a best wax debate are the ones mentioned (Zynol, Poliglow,
Collinite) easy to find -- like at a local West Marine -- or through
the internet?


I've used Poliglow with good results. And, you should be able to pick it up
at West Marine for under $1200.00 per container. :-)
