Thanks to Matt for the pics, seems these days I'm appearing on the wrong
side of the camera more and more, might have something to do with the
fact that you seem to have less time to take pics when you're no longer
one of the back markers, which I can definitely live with. I am going to
try to get something a little more compact together for the races.

Congrats on winning, and also on getting the act together a little better.
It's true that there is less free time the better you sail, because
sailing a boat well is more work than most people believe (at least for
the trimmers & tacticians).
Racer X needs to ease the vang and get the pole up & back a little, Fiesty
needs to ease the main & vang both... backstays?? It may be that both of
them just finished a set.

Last night's course was E1, pic would have been taken when the two were
sailing by the committee boat, mid-leg. Both of these guys are terrific
competitors, but I am told that "RacerX" loses it when they get behind,
least that's what Kristen told me. Based on what I've seen Feisty and RacerX
do, I would be surprised-very surprised-if their boats are ever out of trim,
and their mechanics-tacks, gybes, mark roundings, starts, are excellent. In
the past, I think our main advantage may have been our starts and trim, our
mechanics were sloppy, probably in the main due to our lack of consistent
crew. If they lose, it's tactical. Last night it all came together very
nicely, and this was our first win in the Wednesday night series. If we can
maintain these results, we have a very good chance of winning overall this
year.
