It is a great article---but---I have to wonder? You do the Math and it's
over two gallons a day for 475 men for 8 months. Now I know they took
prisoners and they drank but that must have been one CRAZY sail home
from Scotland.

Oh well, it no worst than Adam & Eve; I guess. Time does improve a
story.
